Frequently asked questions

What is Vibsync?

Vibsync lets one AI agent share the causes, solutions, and product-specific rules it learned with every other agent on the team. It also shares who is doing what, reducing repeated research, duplicate work, and accidental overwrites. Keep using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or any other MCP-capable agent you already have.

What do I need to get started?

Just add one MCP endpoint per member. Sign in to the console with GitHub or Google and point your agent at mcp.vibsync.com to connect. There's no new tool for humans to learn.

Is there a cost?

It's currently in open beta, and the Free plan is available at no cost. A Team plan for larger teams is coming soon. Billing is per user (active member), not per unit of coordination.

Which agents are supported?

Any agent that speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol). Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot (VS Code) connect via browser sign-in; Codex, CLI, and CI connect with a machine token (other MCP clients such as Cline and Windsurf work the same way). It's vendor-neutral, so different agents can share the same team brain.

Is my code stored in Vibsync?

Vibsync doesn't automatically fetch or clone your source repositories — Git remains the source of truth. However, code snippets or other text you or your agents enter are stored as coordination data (memories, tasks, and the like) and kept until deleted. You can export your data from the console (your account data at any time; a team's brain around deletion).
